Migration law is complex and difficult to navigate, however with the assistance of our Principal Sydney Migration Agent, Preston Harrison, challenges are overcome and visas are granted. Below are some of our real-life cases that Preston has been able to troubleshoot to create solutions for our happy clients.
Department of Immigration policy changed to exclude previously eligible applicants from using the 457 visa program.
I researched available options. Came up with a solution that meant that previously ineligible applications were now eligible. Withdrew pending applications and lodged the new applications with new details.
All visas lodged, to date, have been approved.
Decided to prepare their own application. The couple came to me at the final stage of their application, just prior to lodgement. However, I determined that they were ineligible for their chosen pathway.
During the consultation I devised a more streamlined strategy to permanent residence that the couple were eligible for. The couple used my services to manage the process from beginning to end.
Permanent Residence approved.
Applicant was ineligible to lodge a 457 visa application whilst onshore, but was holding a bridging visa in association with a pending visa review application.
I assisted the applicant to gain permission to travel overseas on his bridging visa for 3 months. When he left the country, I submitted a 457 visa application that was approved within the 3 month period.
Applicant returned to Australia holding a 457 visa.
Applicant ineligible for most visa categories with insufficient English and no skills.
I advised him on study options for eligible 457 occupations. Processed his 457 visa application once his studies were completed. I subsequently assisted his employer to sponsor him for permanent residence.
The couple were ineligible to submit their application for permanent residence for timing reasons not readily discernible, despite them being ready to lodge ASAP.
I advised the couple to wait until they met all relevant criteria.
Complete application submitted, result pending.
