Many employers of overseas nationals have working holiday (subclass 482) visa holders, or work and holiday (subclass 462) visa holders, employed in their business. Both visas have a condition restricting employment to 6 months with one employer. In certain circumstances, an application can be made to extend these work rights beyond 6 months, particularly if a new TSS (subclass 482), or really any other visa that has full work rights, has been submitted.
However, it is noted that working holiday, or work and holiday visa holders do not need to make application to extend work rights, and may continue working, in any of the following circumstances:
